Born on the Big Island of Hawaii and raised in the mountain-rich landscapes of Utah, I developed an early appreciation for the natural world — from the rugged peaks to the endless expanse of the ocean. My journey as a photographer has been shaped by a lifetime of adventure and discovery. I served as a missionary in Argentina and as a Naval officer, traveling across the globe and visiting all 50 states and many countries along the way. These experiences have deepened my love for exploring the world’s varied and breathtaking beauty.

For me, nature photography is the perfect blend of adventure and creativity. I am driven by the thrill of the chase — seeking out those fleeting, perfect moments when light, color, and form come together in a way that feels like a divine gift. In every photograph, I aim to capture the wonder I feel when I’m in nature, and accentuate the details that caught my eye, so I can share those moments of stillness and awe with others.
